In Conversation With: All Things Mom Sydney

This week, Michal, from the wonderful All Things Mom Sydney, gives her parenting wisdom and insight on In Conversation With. I applaud Michal for the strong decision she made to leave a career as a lawyer and become a Stay-at-Home Mum. It’s not an easy decision to make in the slightest and it is not an easy job to Stay at Home either. As a working mother myself, I understand “penicilling” in time with your family. I have added up the hours that I am without A, and it hurts, it simply hurts to be apart for such a long period of the day. Continue Reading for Michal’s words of wisdom on parenting.

In Conversation With: The DADgum Blog

This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with TJ from The DADgum Blog. TJ’s honest, open and beautiful discussion about parenting had me reminiscing about those early months and the first year of A’s life. He reminded me why I blog, what I get out of blogging and how writing about parenting has focused me as a mum. I agree with TJ that while blogging is all consuming, it gives us ideas, wants and needs to be with our family, interact and create memories. On the flip side it does of course have its negatives. In Conversation With: And Another 10 Things

If you haven’t come across Suzanne’s blog And Another 10 Things, I recommend you check it out. Her quirky style and lists of ten – who doesn’t love lists – is a clever way of embracing parenthood and finding the funny in it, and of course the serious and heartfelt moments too. Suzanne has joined me for In Conversation With and I was so amazed to read her answers. I somewhat feel like Suzanne is my long lost twin sister! Our lives are travelling on a very similar path and I can relate to pretty much everything she says. I really should listen to my long lost twin and find my tribe!

In Conversation With: Lucy at Home

I am so excited to talk to Lucy this week who is a Stay-at-Home Mum and a fantastic blogger. In fact, Lucy has given me some tips on how to organise my own blogging life. It’s not easy being a Stay-at-Home Mum as she points out, but her list of positives out weigh any negatives there might be, and I just love the list! Lucy shares her thoughts with us on family life, being a mum and managing to find that all elusive balance between finding time to work on her blog and care for her kids. Remember to check out Lucy’s blog and say hi to her on twitter!
